Algebra I w/ some Geometry
Deadline for sign up is 8/11/17
The Saxon curriculum will be used. Because geometry is woven into Saxon's high school math books, a geometry credit can be given if this curriculum is used during high school. Schools are beginning to put Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, and Math 4 on transcripts, as they do with English 1 - IV. This class will count for one math credit, plus some time towards a Geometry or Math 2 credit.

Teacher: Carla Ferry, BS from Michigan State University, Math major; 16 years of homeschooling experience and 25 years of tutoring math at high school and college levels; math tutor at Testing & Educational Services

Meeting days: Monday and Thursday from 10:15-11:45

Cost: $250 - (total of 62 sessions - less than $5 a class) Saxon Algebra 1 book would need to be purchased, but tests will be given in class, so you would not need to order the test book.
